Technical Purchaser Aalten

As a Technical Buyer at Prinzen, you’ll negotiate with international suppliers – which means you’ll occasionally travel to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities. You’ll also contribute to product development to ensure the right materials are available. In short: you’ll translate technical and commercial insights into smart plans.

YOUR CAREER 🚀 What you will do

• Negotiating internationally and translating strategy into smart contracts;

• Identifying opportunities by conducting market, supply and price-quality analyses;

• Actively contributing to development projects, scaling up procurement activities and enabling innovations;

• Reporting and coordinating within procurement groups, with a focus on data and decision-making;

• Contributing to cost savings and process optimisation;

• Assessing the commercial and logistical impact of new products.

YOUR TALENTS 🌟 What you bring

• At least 5 years’ experience in international technical procurement;

• Bachelor degree in International Business, Purchasing or Industrial Engineering, supplemented by NEVI 1 or equivalent;

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills in Dutch and English (German would be an advantage);

• Organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure;

• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP or Infor;

• Flexibility to travel between sites in Eersel and Aalten.
